  • Images in assignments:  When inserting an image into an assignment/assessment, there is no access to the "Content Collection" to retrieve images there. Also, images inserted into assignments do not get stored in the Content Collection automatically as they do from other content areas. This means we always have to browse the computer's hard drive or use a URL to insert images in an assignment or assessment, and we have to upload images for assignments to put them into the Content Collection.  (The Content Collection repository is accessible in other content areas).
  • Consequence of above problem:   Images do not show up in the actual assignment after launching the assignment. Even if the image shows up on the outside before launching, the link breaks after clicking the assignment title to launch it... A colleague discovered that because the image doesn't get stored in the Content Collection, Bb doesn't know where to find the image and uses the old style of titling in the HTML.

  • A workaround until this bug is fixed:  Upload the image to the Content collection first, then open it to view it; copy the URL; then, go into the HTML for the assignment and replace the image URL with the one you copied, and it should be correct.
