I know we have this ability with assessments but I wondered if there was a way to do so with assignments. My instructor only wants students to see their graded assignment "after" they have all been graded without having to go back through each student. The class size is over 160...
One possible option to try is use selective release. I haven't tried it, but my thoughts are:
1. Hide the Assignment tool link on the course menu.
2. Add links to individual assignments in a course Folder organizer page.
3. Create a selective release criteria so the link to an assignment disappears at the end of the assignment due date and then set another date to make the link reappear after the instructor has graded all the assignments.
Another trick might be instead of setting a second date to release the link, set the criteria to the assignment mark of the Demo Student. If the instructor grades the Demo Student last, or enters a mark in the Demo Student's record, that is the trigger to make the link available again.
Also, there are ways to "hide the assignment" link so the students cannot see the "graded" submissions but they can still see the grade in the Grade Book through "My Grades".
Hope this helps...
