Hello,

I have an issue with my learning modules being out of order. The problem is the modules sort alphabetically, not according to their order number. So lets say I have item A, B, and C, and there order is C, B, A. In the order column C is numbered 1, and B is numbered 2, and A is numbered 3. The problem is the items appear in the learning module and to the students as ordered A, B, C, not according to there order number as C, B, A. I have tried sorting with the order arrow but nothing changes. How can I get the items to appear how I want them and according to their order number and not by the alphabetical nature of the learning module name. This does seem to be a relatively new issue for me, as when I was developing the course I don't remember this issue. Has a setting be toggled.

Thanks!

Mackay,

If I understand you correctly, Using the Learning Module Tool on the left menu, you have several learning modules you want to display in a certain order?

I just went into a test course and was able to put them in the order I wanted.

I went to the learning module tool. Then I checked the little check box next to a learning module. The I chose the placement by choosing the arrows on the left column to place above or below the selected item.

It is working for me, staying there, and displaying properly in Student View.
I am using Vista 4.x

Am I understanding your problem correctly? If so and it is not working, contact your Blackboard Support group and report.

I just had the same problem with using "Week 1", "Week 2",...... "Week 10" etc.  Week 10 appears in between week 1 and week 2.  Week 10 should be the last title in the Module.  What I did to correct this was to place a space before the title for week 1 through week 9.  This pushed Week 10 to the bottom.  It looks fine now in the Student View.

Hope this answers your question.

You should alos be able to arrainge by using the checkbox next to the Learning Module title and the "Move item above" action to the left of the checkboxes.
