Server: Vista2.0(??) | Client: IE6.0(??)

I am trying to insert video files into my learning modules, and the
files are taking an enormous amount of time to upload. These are
quicktime files that open easily when played through frontpage, but
within WebCT I am having trouble. I have tried linking to my file
already on the internet, linking to a file that is within WebCT file
manager, and then also inserting a file as part of a media library.
It always opens a new window with the info, but the files take at
least 10 minutes to open. Our streaming video does not have this
problem. Is there a format I could use other than .mov that would be
more compatible with WebCT?
