Hi,
I use BBV for my online and onground courses. I normally use Micrograde for my students grades. Do any of you have the instructions for importing and exporting grades within these two platforms?
Thanks for any help you may provide,
SM

Hi Sergio,
Blackboard "WebCT" Vista/Campus Edition will export the grade book in comma-delimited (CSV) or tab-deliminted (TXT) format and import any comma or tab-delimited files. The only requirements for import is a "User ID" field and a header row with the column names. If you create new columns ahead of time in the Vista/CE Grade Book, when you import, you will avoid some extra steps when importing new columns.
Look for the "Import from Spreadsheet" and "Export to Spreadsheet" buttons in the Vista/CE Grade Book. Detailed instructions can be found by clicking on the Help link in the upper right corner while in the Grade Book (Bb Vista/CE has context sensitive help).
To use Micrograde with Blackboard Vista/CE (and most other LMSs) will depend on if it's supports comma or tab-delimited import and export.
Cheers,
Bob

Bob,
Am I missing a link on my BBV?
Your location: Grade Book

In other words, I cannot see the export link, just the import one.
Thanks!

Bob,
I am taking baby steps. I was able to export the students names only. I was not successful in exporting their grade. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,

Sergio,
The "Export to Spreadsheet" is sort of related to the particular view tab (Grades, Members, View All, Custom View, SCORM). Make sure you are in the "Grades" or "View All" view tab and all of the columns you want to export are visible.
Cheers,
Bob
